Blue Almonds Jewellery

Designer Anna Koskowska set up blue Almonds. She is a passionate gardener and is educated in environmental management. She has a passion for nature, enjoys digging and planting in her garden, as well as crocheting, knitting and embroidery. A lot of her designers are inspired by nature, Art Nouveau and all the places she travels to.

In polish “thinking of blue almonds” means the same as the expression “to have your head in the clouds” or “away with the fairies”. This is a phenomenon Anna experiences when she sees a beautiful stone.

Anna works with natural, high quality gemstones, polished or cut to reveal their inner beauty or colour, pattern and spirit. She only uses natural stones, which haven’t been colour enhanced or dyed. Her jewellery has an organic and earthy colour palette. The stones are sourced from all over the world but her amber comes from Poland. Anna prefers to use stones that have been cut and polished by independent lapidary artists than mass companies.

She wraps her stones in wire of different thickness depending on the project and the customer choice.
