Helena Garcia, the creator of Candy Candy, started selling fashion jewellery in 2006. She was situated in the Victoria Quarter in Leeds.
When Helena was growing up she could create her own accessories preferring them to the traditional jewellery available in the shops. She moved to England after completing her degree and worked in a variety of industries before moving into fashion. She set up a workshop in Leeds and started designing and creating items of jewellery and hair accessories.
The costume jewellery was initially intended for herself, after receiving many compliments from friends and strangers Helena decided to offer stock to a few local outlets.
Since then she hasn’t looked back and the brand has evolved into an eclectic world of beautiful and individually crafted fashionable accessories.
